perspective

Despite the many rich, vibrant colors, hues, and saturation that life presents, we are prone to view the world from a monochromatic lens.

Life puts a cocked gun in everyone’s hand. This barrel has two ends — your hands on the trigger and the great evil in your crosshairs. No one points this gun at the things they love and cherish. But before you pull this trigger on the enemy target, ask yourself this question:

did I order this hit or did the order have an extrinsic origin?

We are quick to claim the former because we are nauseated by the latter thought, a wormhole to the uncanny pitch-black cupboard of skeletons.
