The person who is bold to stir into the mirror of the law of God shall see the truth beneath the superficial cracks of self” People avoid gazing into the perfect law of God like the fiery serpentine face of Medusa — a sight, not even the so-called immortal gods could live to tell the tale. In this mirror, we truly see the still, stone-cold, depraved self-will of the human heart, completely dead in sin.
